Chittagong Traditional Binni Rice Atikka Pitha Recipe, Before eating Atikka Pitha, let me intruduce  what Atikka means...The meaning of the word Atikka is sudden. It is called (Atikka)… Suddenly if any guest comes to visit at any house then village house women make this cake  that's why it's name has become  Atikka (Cake). I almost love to eat this pitha (Cake). Chittagng Hill tract ethnic people basically Cultivate this Binni rise in the hill. there are several kinds of Binni rice basically they grows like white Binni, Red Binni, Black Binni, Yello Binni. A one noted point that Sleepy after eating it .Especially in winter this Binni rice is cultivated in Pahari Jhum Here are some pictures what I've captured recently when I was travelling to Hill tract people. 







                                                ðŸ‘‰ðŸ‘‰ðŸ‘‰ðŸ‘‰ Cooking Materials-

Binni Rice-1kg, ( Binni rice it means a kind of rice after boiling it become glue rise, in Chittagong language it's Called Binni Rise.

Sugar/molasses-3 cups

Coconut Kuchi-4 cups (you can add more or less coconut if you want)

Ripe bananas - 15 (can be reduced depending on the quality of the bananas)

Salt

Banana leaf


Cooking Method-👈👈👈👈

After soaking the rice for 2 hours, wash it well and drain the water. Mash the bananas in a bowl. Then mix well with rice, coconut, sugar/molasses and salt.

Now take a quantity of the mixture prepared in a banana leaf and wrap it. Take water in a rice cooker or a pot and keep it on medium flame for 30 minutes. Now everyone try this hope you'll like it also.
